Some of the most well-marketed weight loss supplements are actually not even formulated to offer any type of substantial results. Most of the products will be geared to help with overall health and wellness, and offer nutritional support, but if you want to really lose weight then you need a stronger formula. A product based on Hoodia and Advantra-Z, for instance, may offer the comprehensive support you’re looking for.
Calotren is a supplement that is supposed to be based on natural ingredients such as Collagen, Aloe Vera, Natural Raspberry flavoring and Potassium Sorbate. The main component was apparently Collagen, which is the most plentiful amino acid in the body. However, it is believed to be more effective for strengthening the skin and improving elasticity. Plus, the ingredient is apparently derived from a bovine source, so vegetarians, for instance, might not want to use this supplement.

A good look at the weight loss products on the market today will lead you to conclude that there is a lack of truly promising options that you can really get excited about. There are actually many weight loss products based on unnatural ingredients, which could cause a slew of undesirable side effects and other reactions. The bad news is that even some of the natural options can have adverse reactions.
Calogel is a supplement that is available in both capsule and liquid form and is advertised as capable of promoting as much weight loss as we want. The formula is supposed to be based on CLA, or Conjugated Linoleic Acid, which is a naturally occurring substance but may be lacking in our everyday diets. Some say it can suppress appetite and reduce body fat, but there may be more effective alternatives. Hoodia and Advantra-Z top that list.

There are many prescription drugs on the market for men and women who want to suppress their appetite and reduce their cravings. Reduced caloric intake is one of the more important parts of any sound diet plan, but most of us have a hard time sticking to our goals. That’s why it might help to take a supplement to suppress appetite — of course, if the product causes side effects then you might have to look for other options.
Bontril is a prescription drug billed as a sympathomimetic amine, which is similar to amphetamines in function. The drug is supposed to stimulate the central nervous system and boost blood pressure and heart rate. Unfortunately, there have been reports of side effects like hallucinations, diarrhea, impotence and other reactions. If you want to suppress your appetite you might be better off with a natural alternative like Hoodia.

You might be familiar with the concept of spa treatments to burn fat and improve the appearance of our skin. They usually entail wrapping the body in a product made of clay and other natural ingredients, after which the body is toned down and cleansed. The problem is that these methods can be expensive and time-consuming, which is why it helps to have an at-home option.
The Body Wrap concept includes using a special formula based on a complex of Glacial and Seabed Clays that is combined with a unique amino acid and Aloe Vera base. The bandage is supposed to be wrapped around trouble areas of the body, with reports of up to 4 inches of fat loss on the mid-thigh area and up to 2 inches on the biceps. The product comes with a money-back offer, which takes out some of the associated risks of buying a new product.

You might want to achieve a stronger body with increased muscle mass, but if your goal is to slim down and lose weight first then strength training might not be the most important thing to focus on. That’s why no matter how many crunches and sit-ups you do, unless you also get some cardio into your routine you probably will not burn off any fat and slim down.
Body for Life is a program that is supposed to last for 12 weeks, after which the company says that we will have the body of our dreams. The problem is that most of us need to burn off the fat first before even thinking about increasing our lean muscle mass, and a program like this might not be what we’re looking for. The concept is that we should participate in strength-training workouts while eating healthfully, but I’m not sure that this is the best thing to do for long-term weight loss.
