Getting to the bottom of the CLA debate

September 10, 2008

You might have heard that Conjugated Linoleic Acid, also known as CLA, has many health-promoting properties. Some even say that it can help us reach our weight loss goals, even though research on this front may not really be conclusive at this time. Proponents claim that it can act as a natural fat burner and help promote weight loss in other ways.

Others say that it can prevent some forms of cancer while still others believe it can boost the development of muscle mass. CLA can be found in many of the foods we eat, such as beef and dairy products, though it is said to be extracted from Safflower Oil in most supplements. As far as weight loss goes, I would wait until further studies have been completed before jumping on this.

The importance of setting practical, attainable goals

September 10, 2008

Many of us fail to meet our weight loss goals over and over again because we set lofty standards and fail to meet them before we even hit any kind of stride. I suppose it’s natural that it works out this way, considering we all want to lose weight quickly. The problem is that quick weight loss usually ends in weight gain, since most of the lost weight is likely to be water.

The Cheat to Lose diet is a program created by Joel Marion, who is regarded across the country as one of the preeminent specialists in weight loss support. The diet plan encourages us to set long-term goals, but also to keep the day-to-day goals in mind as well. That means recognizing that you can’t go your entire life eating just carrot and celery sticks — to that end, a “cheat” day is allowed.

Why go to the spa when it can go to you?

September 10, 2008

If you’ve ever wished that you could have a personal masseuse and spa treatment at the snap of your fingers, then you should probably keep dreaming. Most of us probably don’t have the time or the means to receive such treatment on a regular basis. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t get the benefits of these procedures at home.

Herbal Body Wraps enable you to replicate some of the same therapeutic treatments you receive at the highest-end spas in the country. The treatments that appear to have been in most demand appear to be the wraps, which are comprised of Organic Clay, Aloe Vera and a blend of amino acids. By applying these wraps to your body, you can target where you want to slim down and burn fat the most.

Don’t give up on topical formulas for weight loss — yet

September 10, 2008

I am just as skeptical when it comes to new weight loss products as the next consumer, but I also have an eye for something great. Capsule-based supplements have, of course, been the traditional form of dietary support, but there are alternative options for those who wish to burn fat and target hard-to-reach cellulite.

Of course, none of this is good if you can’t achieve your goals without experiencing side effects. The Miracle Burn Cream contains 100 percent organic ingredients, with components like Safflower Nut Oil and Aloe Vera. The formula is said to use a special liposome delivery technology to deliver the fat burners directly to the fat cells, where they are “zapped.”

Seeking the best form of weight loss support

September 10, 2008

I am really surprised at the sheer number of questionable weight loss products on the market at any given time. You can easily tell what type of products are not likely to come through with advertised effects by checking out the consumer response online. You can also check to see if the product has been discontinued, a clear sign that you should avoid it.

Miracle Burn, on the other hand, appears to offer something that most dietary formulas do not: a potent fat burner like Advantra-Z and a powerful appetite suppressant like Hoodia Gordonii in one formula. Not only can you take advantage of such a potent, comprehensive formula, you can try it for free by checking out the official Web site. How can you turn something like that down?
