Patches that seem too good to be true usually are

September 1, 2008

It is well-documented that certain patch-based products can help detoxify the body by extracting metals and toxins from the body while you sleep overnight, for example. However, there are other patch-based products that claim to do it all: promote weight loss, detoxify the body, boost energy levels and even offer thyroid support. I have found that products that seem too good to be true usually end up that way.

The Slim Form Patch is a product that makes some of the above assertions about what it can do for us, but I’m not so confident that this would be possible. Ingredients include Marine Algae, Potassium and Fucus Vesiculosis, none of which have been proven to do it all, like the company claims is possible with this formula. If anything, this product seems to promote general nutrition and wellness, since the formula seems to include a number of nutrients. For weight loss? I’m doubtful that this product will work.

Weight loss support from remote locations

September 1, 2008

While many of us struggle to make it through our weight loss programs on our own, there are options out there for those who want some support in the form of accountability and counseling. These types of programs are fairly common across the country, with most functioning as fitness centers and sources of nutritional and dietary guidance. However, many companies will only offer their services to remote locations.

For instance, at Slim4Life com you might be interested in finding out how you can take advantage of the company’s counseling, but it only appears to serve the Denver area as well as the twin cities of St. Paul and Minnesota. This means that if you live on the West or East Coast, you will likely be shut out from the services. I suppose you could opt for the online version, though this would be hard to pull off since so much of the company’s program involves one-on-one counseling.

Testing a company’s products against its claims

September 1, 2008

It really would be a mistake to take a company’s claims about a certain weight loss product at face value, considering many companies rarely think twice about whether anyone will question such claims or not. You might want to get a closer look at the ingredients as well as learn more about the company and its history and overall reputation in the industry. You might be surprised by what you find.

The So Cal Cleanse is a nutritional supplement that is supposed to have the dual effect of burning fat and detoxifying the body. We see ingredients like Advantra-Z, one of the most well-regarded fat burners around, as well as Cascara Sagrada, a known laxative. While we all could burn a little more fat, most dieters also struggle with reducing their caloric intake. That’s why it would have been nice to see an appetite suppressant like Hoodia.

All the benefits of spa treatment without leaving home

September 1, 2008

We all enjoy indulging ourselves in spa treatments from time to time, but it would be unrealistic to visit frequently whether due to a busy schedule or the lofty price tags for the best treatments. That’s why many dieters and fitness enthusiasts in general are turning towards home-based products and procedures to replicate some of these procedures that are so desirable.

For instance, the Spa Body Wrap is an at-home kit meant to provide some of the benefits of those spa treatments that involve wrapping certain areas of the body in therapeutic towels, or wraps. This is supposed to not only soothe your body but also to promote better fat burning. According to reports, you can reduce your waistline and do away with fat in trouble areas such as the thighs and buttocks without having to undergo special clinical treatments.

You probably have to try it to believe it

September 1, 2008

Most of us have probably had bad experiences with our weight loss and general nutritional supplements, whether it was poor customer service or perhaps undesirable side effects. But as more and more products come online over the years, it is important to make sure that any supplement or other weight loss product we try has the reputation to back up its claims.

At www.CleansePatch.com we see a patch-based product that is supposed to help with our internal cleansing goals. Many of us detoxify our bodies periodically because it helps boost our overall health and wellness, but such methods include hardcore dieting and unpleasant concoctions. That’s why a patch like this one can be convenient: You simply attach it to your foot before bed and remove it in the morning.
